Getting A Jump On Gun Dog Training

Dogs who attend Puppy Head Start receive 10% off the first month of Gun Dog Training
The primary focus is on familiarizing your puppy with birds. We begin the program with the proper introduction to gunfire. Once we have your youngster comfortable with the gun, we’ll then move to the water to familiarize them with decoys and water retrieves. After we have them gun broke and water retrieving, we’ll move them into the field portion of their development. At the end of four weeks when you come to pick up your dog, we will spend approximately an hour working with you and your dog together. We will instruct you on what to work on at home to prepare your dog for more advanced training. This training is designed to educate you on how to get the most out of your early training sessions with your pup, during this critical stage of rapid development.

All dogs who come to us for training or boarding must be current on all vaccines. Proof of vaccinations is required. Dogs in for training need to be on monthly heartworm medication, at the owner’s expense. All females who come in for breeding must have documentation showing a negative brucellosis test.
We require payment for the first month when your dog is dropped off. Billing will be done on a monthly basis.
